Chris Mathers spent most of his career working undercover for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the US Drug Enforcement Administration, and the US Customs Service, infiltrating organized crime groups across North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. He later led KPMG’s Corporate Intelligence department, directing international due diligence, asset recovery, and anti–money laundering operations.
Today, as President of Chris Mathers Inc., he advises corporations and governments on fraud, corruption, cybercrime, and terrorism. A recognized commentator and author of Crime School: Money Laundering, Chris is regularly featured in global media and has consulted on major films and documentaries relating to organized crime and espionage.

Norman Groot is the founder of Investigation Counsel PC, Canada’s only boutique law firm dedicated exclusively to fraud recovery litigation. His career began in policing, where his early investigative work laid the foundation for a legal practice built around asset tracing, court-ordered production, and aggressive recovery strategies.
A recognized authority in fraud and investigations, Norman acts as Independent Supervising Solicitor on Anton Piller orders and regularly advises investigators, corporations, insurers, and counsel on complex recovery matters. He serves as counsel to national investigative associations, including the Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units, and sits on the board of the Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada.

Behavioural Threat Assessment
Christine Robinson retired from Peel Regional Police after 30 years of service and founded ThreatShield Consulting. She has been a certified Behavioural Threat Assessment and Management specialist since 2015 and also serves as a Senior Security Advisor with the Ministry of the Attorney General.
Christine has worked closely with criminal justice partners, school boards, higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, and social service partners to identify, assess, and mitigate threats to public safety. She provides opinions on risk and case management strategies in matters involving workplace and school violence, targeted violence, threatening communications, sexual violence, and intimate partner violence. She has been recognized as an expert witness in criminal and civil proceedings.
Christine serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Her approach emphasizes relationship building, effective collaboration, and open information sharing in the assessment and management of complex threats.

Belle Yuan is the founder of Strategywise HR Inc., a boutique human resources consulting firm focused on impartial workplace investigations, workplace assessments, and advising employers and HR leaders on managing employment risk and associated costs.
A Certified Human Resources Leader with more than 20 years of corporate and human resources experience across commercial and nonprofit sectors, Belle has conducted investigations both within organizations and as an independent third party. Her work as a fact finder is informed by experience with internal organizational dynamics and neutral external investigations.
Belle is a member of the Canadian Association of Workplace Investigators and is regularly retained to investigate allegations of harassment, bullying, workplace violence, sexual harassment, discrimination, reprisals, toxic work environments, policy violations, and employee misconduct.
